Historic Mile stone!!! Blessing and inauguration - “extension of Vimukti Center” Pothnal
Humble beginning, steady growth, great dreams have been the life of Vimukti Pothnal. Generous and Gracious God had made our hopes and dreams come true. Long awaited dream of extension of Vimukti center has been actualized. January 12th, 2015 was indeed a historic day in the pages of Vimukti charitable institute and a day of great joy and delight to the Vimukti director and the staff, who in sublime gratitude proclaimed God’s immense greatness. It was also most solemn moment of the inauguration and blessing of the new guest house, christened as Merci Nivas -“Abode of Gratitude” birth of a guest house in actualization of a unfolding dream, a revelation of mile stone for the trust.

This day was also marked for the significant event of our project planner of Ensemble Agissons, a far sightedness. Fr. Alwyn Dias Vicar Provincial of Karnataka, who proudly unveiled the plaque and proclaimed with humble gratitude to God saying ‘Lord your love is eternal; Complete the work that you have begun....’Fr. Alwyn deserves very special honour for his untiring support from the very moment of the idea of bringing into the reality of this type of needed structure in Pothnal. Words would be insufficient to thank him also for his visualization, constant support, dynamic and ceaseless effort to actualize the dreams of Vimukti trust with collaboration with Ensemble team in building this guest house. We also gratefully remember and thank Fr. Santa Lopes, Fr. Arun Lobo, and Fr. Robin D’souza for their valuable and timely guidance and support and in a special way inspiring the Vimukti team for the completion work of this construction.

They have tried to help out in their own way and they really deserve words of appreciation and thanks. We are in a special way grateful to Mr. Patrice Fabart who cut the ribbon symbolically and inaugurated the new house. As we pray for showers of blessings on this guest house of inspiration, connecting people, building up relationships, fostering and nurturing the members and project plans, we pray in a very special way for our benefactor Mr. Patrice Fabart and Ensemble Agissons President and Members - France, and all those who have toiled and worked hard to reach the set target. May, the 'office - cum - residence' be the source of inspiration and abode of blessings to all who enter through the doors of this house without any discrimination.

Many of our neighboring friends, priests, Clara Vihar brothers, Vimukti Staff and sponsored children and others witnessed the inaugural event. As the part of the inaugural function of the house short facilitation programme also was organized to honour, to appreciate and to acknowledge with immense gratitude to the services of the building contractor, laborers, benefactors, well wishers and friends.
