Peace rally and convention on human rights was held in Mangalore by Bandhavya of whom CKSK Vimukti is an active partner on 16 January in Mangalore. Former Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde was the chief guest and spoke person of the event, TV personality and Activist Shailaja Snthos, MLA J.R Lobo, Bishop Aloysius Paul D Souza and other dignitaries were present. Fr Oswald Monteiro Director Bandhavya and Fr Vinod Mascarenhas the Chairperson organized the entire event with other 18 NGO copartners. The rally was carried out from Milagres Collage ground to St Agnes Special School Bendoor . Slogans and street play were done to create an awareness on Human rights to general public. Vimukti SHG women actively participated in the convention.
