Children`s day celebration at Utakanur High School
The Vimukti charitable trust has widened its horizons towards
bringing about a far-reaching change by dealing with the concrete
problems of the children in the society. If Vimukti is the plant, the
children are its precious buds. In addition, as the plant it cherishes,
nourishes the buds to bloom as the lowly flower. The Vimukti trust since
for the past years given hope to the helpless, strength to the weak,
guidance to the lost, a helping hand to the fallen, cheerfulness to
those who are without smile, at large it has worked tirelessly towards
building a bright future of the children. This is the main dream and
task of this Trust.
14th of November is celebrated everywhere as the children`s day. Due to
inconvenience and other important tasks to fulfill the Vimukti team
could not organize the celebration on 14th of November itself. However,
this event was postponed to 7thDecember 2012 in a more colorful way. The
entire Vimukti team worked hard and organized very meaningfully the
children`s day in utakanur high school premises. For about 450 children
took part in this programme. All the Government school teachers were
also present to this programme. Some of the important Government
officials like Kavithal Circle Inspector Tippanna , Mr. Kubera the Head
Master, the Saunkta Karnataka Journalist Mr.Huseen Pasha, Mr.Basavaraj,
SDMS presidents, VDC presidents and others presence brought immense
delight to this programme. On this jolly occasion the members of the
children parliament Utakanur, under the guidance of Vimukti team,
felicitated Mr.Hussen Pasha who had received an award for being the best
journalist as Karnataka Rajyostava and Mr. Basavaraj as the best
teacher, for their outstanding dedication and service in their
respective fields. Many neighboring teachers as well as, the children
witnessed through their very presence to this programme. To mark this
event as very special sweets and snacks were distributed to all the
children participants. Nearly 450 children partook on this children`s
day which remained as the unforgettable to all.
