The ‘Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act – 2005’ under this act poor people from Manjri and Manjrewadi village Chikodi taluk applied for work when their Grama Panchayth has not given a ear to them. They protested in front of Taluk Panchyath and have given a memorandum to Executive officer.
