The 75th Anniversary progroamme was inaugurated by Mr. Shibi

inaugural address, he said, today Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra is
playing a major role with the support of ChildFund for the betterment of
the poor children in the rural and remote areas of Belthangady Taluka.
ChildFund always tried to cherish and give meaning to the childhood of
each and every deprived child. In the past education system was more of
joy and fun. But now the education is more of competition. To make the
education more of quality based especially to poor, ChildFund gives
opportunities to the vulnerable children to develop their personality
and shape their inner qualities to compete with the modern world
demands. In this context, the Anganavady and Primary teachers are
playing a major role. Comparing to the private school teachers, the
Government teachers face more challenges and their services are
unnoticeable and it is heartening to see that ChildFund India has come
forward to recognize and appreciate their services. We are grateful to
ChildFund for their self-less efforts and wish this type of programs may
come many in future days to motivate more teachers and deprived
children.
Felicitation to Anganavady workers:
Two Anganavady workers and two primary teachers were honored for their
meritorious service in their respective fields by the Chief Functionary

improve the basic facilities of the centre by raising the support from
the community. She worked hard and motivated the people to avail the
Government facilities too.

be from the teachers at different life stages of the child. Therefore
the teachers will play a major role in shaping the personality of the
children. In this year we have planned to give an appeal to Zilla

ChildFund India. He further said that how a small plant needs
qualitative seeds, water, fertilizers, environment and care to grow and
give good fruits, in the same way every child needs care, love, support,
better environment to grow and to become an asset to nation. Children
usually try to move in their carrier according to their interest but
many times parents never recognize their talents and desire and as a
result they become villains in their locality. ChildFund has done a
better job to motivate us and we all are thankful to them and promise
that we all will render our selfless service in future also.
Mr. Keshav ACDPO, Belthangady T.Q opinioned that it is really great to
be here and I am thanking ChildFund and Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas and all
Capuchin staffs for their magnanimous efforts. He further said that they
have altogether 6 programs allotted specially for the pregnant mothers
and the children between 1-6 years from the Government department. These
all Government policies and programs will be successful only if the
Anganavady and primary teachers put their sincere efforts. If we see in
our family, we take utmost care and efforts to feed and rare one or two
children but these teachers will engage themselves in taking care of
nearly 25 to 30 children in the centers. It may be in child’s physical
or mental development Anganavady teachers’ efforts are greatly
appreciable. These four teachers are representing the whole Taluka
teachers of Belthangady and this program will surely motivate other
teachers to improve their services towards the community and children.
Capuchins with the support of ChildFund organize many programs at
Anganavdy and school level especially in backward areas and it has
contributed gloriously to the total development of the little children
and all are very much indebted to the Organization and also ChildFud
India.
