On 12th August 2016 a full day
training programme was organized for all the local leaders in
Vimukti premises. Nearly 40 leaders from 20 villages were present
for this training. The aim of this programme was to introduce them
the NFSA Government schemes in detail to all the local leaders. In
this training, resource person helped the participants to know the
schemes like integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Mid-day
Meal Schemes (MDMS), Public Distribution System (PDS), Nation
Maternity Benefit Scheme (NMBS), National Old Age Pension Scheme (NOAPS),.
Sampooran Grameen Rozgar Yogina (SGRY) etc. The knowledge with
regard to Right to food workshop & training is helping the staff to
work in the villages very efficiently. During the training a
road-map for this project for the next six months also was drown.
Additionally relevant input sessions were conducted on soft skills
such as communication, motivation, teamwork and improving
self-confidence techniques were thought. Participants were frank
enough to speak and share so that they could provide and receive
opinions of others and give feedback constructively. Through the
process, the trainers used the interactive/participatory teaching
method rather than just giving lecture to stimulate the learning
environment more participatory and active. This approach also
included small group and plenary discussions, pair work, stress
lease exercises, energizing games etc.
