Inauguration of “Convergence for Child Survival and Development (CCSD)” (20-11-2011)

Vimukti moves another Milestone!

Bravo! A momentous event that thrilled off our hearts to witness the amazing juxtaposition of VCT’s credentials in gaining a better stand and widen its avenues as it got in to better hands with the government officials. This convergence for child Survival and Development was indeed a great milestone that led Vimukti to have a well anchored stand and sustain its energies to face the various social challenges and problems.

Vimukti hosted a 1 day programme in meeting the problems and difficulties posed by the preliminary schools (anganvadis), Nearly 40 District Government officials were brought on one platform to conduct this one day session. The programme commenced with the inaugural ceremony. On 20th December 2011 the new programme based on the development of children was inaugurated by Respectable Mr. Manoj Jain CEO, Zilla Panchayat Raichur. To mark this event More than 100 children were present for this inaugural function. This programme was held in the Vimukti Premises at Pothnal. This Programme is based and focused on empowering the rural children in every possible way

Then the officials addressed the current issues and problems regarding the current poor set up developed for the Anganwadis. Looking into this issue is a matter of serious concern as many of the schools are lacking the dearth of poor hygiene and sanitation. The UNICEF is focusing to address this rising problem thereby aiming to develop a well organized structure for the functioning of these schools with better facilities and choices.

Vimukti was entrusted the responsibility to survey the various preliminary schools in the vicinity of Manvi taluk and make a critical study on the structures and functioning of these anganvadis, lower& Higher Primary Schools, Health Sub Center/Primary Sub Centers, Villages. Children from various schools and villages had come to attend their inaugural programme.

The honorable guest for this function was the CEO of the Raichur dist, Respectable Mr. Manoj Jain who by his inspiring and supportive speech gained the confidence of the committees and people and with much more confidence the project was entrusted to vimukti charitable trust with NGO’s collaboration. Mr. Jayasheela Co-ordinator thanked gathering for their presence

The function was followed by the nutrition food for all the members gathered to this inaugural programme. This inaugural function came to its chime with positive note for vimukti charitable trust and making this function a memorable one.
